How many of us actually know the definition of 'Delay'?
I can tell you it is not a simple straight forward calculation.
If you want to have free accommodation because of a flight delay, the flight must be delayed by at least 5 hours.
What we have not considered, is that we might have connecting flights.
For example, taking a flight from Edinburgh to London then San Francisco, what can you do about it if your flight is delayed at Edinburgh and you can't catch the flight to SFO?
Well, 'it's your problem.' Basically is the answer.
