There are so many types of drinking culture.
'Pub Crawl' is popular amongst university students, drinking pub after pub, normally during induction period.
In UK, people normally go by 'round'. You buy the first round of alcohol and I will buy the second round and so on.
Some bad drinking habits, 'binge drinking', basically is drinking everything without thinking the consequences.
In Asian countries like Japan, China, some alcohol is consumed warm or even hot.
In Korea, you must pour the 'Soju' to the other's cup, and let the other person pours it into yours, it is a culture. And you must drink it in one go bottom up.
Some people don't drink at all, whilst others drink excessively.
It is good to drink a little to relax, but not too much to cause distress, accident, self harming and violence.
Drink safe, and think.
